Compact shorts that, thanks to insulating textiles and an aerodynamic fit, fill the gap between summer racing shorts and spring/fall knickers - for professionals as well as for female riders who invariably ride outside all year round.

For the transitional seasons of fall and spring, when comfortable, versatile shorts are still the preferred choice and extra thermal protection for the thighs is welcome. The shorts can be worn alone in cooler spring/autumn temperatures or combined with knee or leg warmers for more thermal coverage in cold weather.

• Featured Fabrics: The fabric panels around the thighs are made from brushed OSMOS Heavy material, which has a highly insulating, breathable fleece inner surface for a super-soft feel against the skin. The outer tricot construction acts as the 'shell' of the shorts, providing even more support to your leg muscles and providing compression. The double-layer twinDeck structure on the front has been fitted with a SPHERE Ultra insert to prevent freezing air from entering
• Carbon Xbib: A single section of stretchy material folded over to create a supportive A-frame and limited vertical stretch at the back. A more flexible material made of an antibacterial carbon fabric was used over the "X" junction. It wicks moisture and lies flat in the front
• Ultralight Leg Grippers: The newly developed Lycra band - free from silicone - wraps around the thigh for a soft, particularly light grip
• DYORA RS Insert: Antibacterial microfiber topsheet in a gray tint made from 3D basalt - a homage to volcanic rock that imparts strength, stability and courage
• superAir microShock foam: A lightweight, open-cell foam with a shock-absorbing structure that always returns to its original shape, filling the gaps whenever your riding position changes due to weight shifts in the saddle
• 3D waffle: A patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and has no excess weight
• goldenGate: A patented process technology in which the seams are interrupted along the side parts of the upholstery, thus enabling increased three-dimensional freedom of movement in this sensitive area that is always in motion
