An absolute dream bike

The goal is clear - less weight, more power, more speed. Thanks to the lightest EVO frame to date and the most aggressive version of Specialized 's progressive XC geometry to date, the S-Works Epic EVO LTD and its components form an absolute dream team. The phenomenal ratio of performance and weight not only makes it easy to jump over any obstacle, but also to overshoot your hoped-for goal by far.

Although the Epic EVO boasts a seemingly modest increase in travel of 20mm front and 10mm rear compared to its stablemate Epic, they've spared no effort in implementing these in a way that will leave you absolutely amazed on your first stretch of singletrack .

The new kinematics of the EVO chassis have been developed with great care so that none of the outstanding efficiency of the Epic is lost. The perfect interaction with fork and damper in the tailor-made Rx XC Tune ensures that you can make optimal use of every centimeter of travel and that the increased anti-squat characteristics for improved pedaling efficiency are retained.

With plenty of practice riding way up the front runners, the Epic EVO claims to be the highest-performing iteration of Specialized 's progressive XC geometry ever to grace an Epic. Thanks to the new rear triangle equipped with a FlipChip, the Epic EVO is also more versatile than ever. This allows the rider to change the steering angle and the bottom bracket height and thus easily adjust the riding characteristics

Every component that is allowed to grace the FACT 12m carbon frame of the S-Works Epic EVO LTD must meet the requirement of being the ultimate balance of lightness, efficiency and resilience. For example, the new Roval Control SL wheelset is a seemingly logic-defying masterpiece of stiffness and light weight. The electronic components from SRAM, such as the light yet trailworthy XX Eagle AXS group and the lowerable Reverb AXS seat post, also fit perfectly into this concept.

highlights

  • Flip It To Rip It! Adjust the handling of the FACT 12m carbon frame to your preferred riding characteristics with the flip chip. The S-Works Epic EVO allows you to reduce the steering angle by half a degree while lowering the bottom bracket by 10 mm
  • Marrying the stiff and lightweight casting of the SID Ultimate with RockShox's lightest Charger Race Day damper unit to date results in an impressive suspension fork that offers a truly impressive level of power, precision and control at a low weight
  • The XX Eagle AXS from SRAM is the perfection of drive technology. It combines next-generation wireless technology with incredibly precise shifting and groundbreaking versatility, drastically redefining the driving experience
  • The Roval Control SL wheelset has a newly developed rim with an asymmetrical profile and an internal width of 29 mm, which means it can achieve greater stability, lower weight and 22% better puncture protection. It fits perfectly with the ambitions of the S-Works Epic EVO to shave more weight while increasing performance
