The BB5 MTB is an uncompromising disc brake for riders who are looking for a system without hydraulics. The mechanical system is easier to adjust and maintain than a hydraulic disc brake and is also convincing in wet conditions. The set comes without brake levers and cables. These must be ordered separately if required. The BB5 MTB is compatible with all Avid brake levers. The brake can be used both as a front wheel and a rear wheel brake.

With Avid's Tri-Align ™ Caliper Positioning System ™, the caliper can be centered on the disc in literally seconds. Simply loosen the CPS ™ screws a little, press the brake lever and retighten the screws. Perfect alignment of the brake caliper in next to no time.
