About the brand iXS

Over 100 years of history

What started with a bicycle workshop in 1906 has now developed to an all-round business with seven companies. With the foundation of the hostettler ag (http://www.hostettler.com) in 1957 the foundation for today's business form was placed. A crucial step was the takeover of the General Imports of Yamaha motorcycles in 1968. In 1972 the hostettler autotechnik ag was founded, in 1979 intercycle followed, in 1980 the motorcycle clothing brand iXS Motorcycle Fashion was founded and in 1987 the hostettler motoren ag. Then in 1991 the hostettler gmbh opened in Germany followed from the in 1998 founded company cosmosport and iXS Sports Division in 2001.
