Assos SpringFall undershirt long sleeve

The Skin Layer series, the latest innovation from ASSOS's laboratory, was tested over and over again by their product team until they were finally satisfied with the result - better functional underwear. Their short-sleeved model protects your upper body from cold, challenging spring and autumn weather while also keeping you dry.

This feminine skin layer is approximately 11% lighter than the previous skinFoil after a complete makeover. Thanks to their circular seamless structure, there are no scratchy side seams and the result is an even, tubular knit design that feels silky soft on the skin. A textile made of carbon fibers and polypropylene yarn, designed for cool weather, regulates moisture and insulates even better than other materials. The end product is a supple, insulating, antibacterial, short-sleeved base piece that keeps your core dry and protected under other athletic apparel.

Cyclists who know their iconic skinFoil baselayer will find that they have completely redesigned everything in the Skin Layer range, using a brand new material made from different fibers. It is about 8% lighter than before and the Circular Seamless structure is also found here, which means that the garment has no scratchy side seams. In addition, this creates a supple, tubular knitted fabric that nestles velvety softly against the skin. Made from carbon fiber and polypropylene, the cold-weather fabric efficiently wicks moisture away from your skin and insulates your core. Additionally, ASSOS has increased the collar by 3 cm compared to the short-sleeved model, and that's just one of the many little things that show how detailed and careful they tailor their baselayers for specific conditions.
