The XM 1030 is the most advanced evolution of the Mavic XM series. Despite the 30 mm rim width, the welded rim is extra light - thanks to ISM 4D weight tuning (Inter Spoke Milling), in which material is specifically removed where it is not needed, without weakening the highly stressed spoke bores. This form of weight saving enables faster acceleration without compromising longevity.

Optimized to the maximum that the material allows, the XM 1030 may even be the best trail rim in the world.

Light and stable. Made exclusively for Mavic, the aluminum alloy offers a higher strength-to-weight ratio than conventional 6106 aluminum.

SUP
More stable and smoother rim joint. Soude Usine Process. The rim joint is welded and then milled over in order to achieve an even braking surface.

ISM 4D weight tuning
Inter Spoke Milling 4th dimension. ISM 4D noticeably reduces weight and inertia, without sacrificing longevity. This results in faster acceleration, better handling and greater stability - the perfect mix for a better driving experience.
