The challenge in developing really good elbow pads is to design them in such a way that they are comfortable to wear even during dynamic movements. In order to meet this requirement, PEARL iZUMi has equipped the Summit Elbow Guard with light 4-way Cordura® stretch fabric, which offers a comfortable fit and does not restrict fast movements of the upper body, such as when shifting weight for descents and curves. In addition, viscoelastic D3O® material offers excellent protection without being too heavy or too rigid. The ideal solution for trail riders who want a little more protection without restrictions in terms of speed.
