Gone are the days of counting clicks up and down to know where you are and to make adjustments. The entire range of low-speed compression from the DB Kitsuma is controlled in a single turn, while the high-speed compression is controlled in two turns, so that the driver can easily see at a glance where you are in your setting. Thanks to the large, multi-indexed adjusters from DB Kitsuma, the rider has full control and a feel for how his bike works in a variety of real scenarios.

More freedom for more bikes

The new valve body and the new air chamber from DB Kitsuma were redesigned taking into account the geometry of modern bicycles. They cut 16mm from the external reservoir and reduce the outer diameter of the air chamber at the end eye. All in all, this results in a new, low profile design that allows the DB Kitsuma to be mounted on more bikes without framing clearance issues.

DB Kitsuma is equipped with a single lever that toggles the shock absorber between three different modes, drastically affecting the feel and character of the shock absorber. The new three-position climb switch maintains Double Barrel's "descent" mode. The patented "CS" mode provides a stable, yet responsive platform that maximizes traction and pedaling efficiency when climbing over technical terrain and single trails. DB Kitsuma also adds the new "Firm" mode. This third position is great for pedaling along long stretches of road or gravel roads on the way to the trail.
