Maximum downhill control with the Float X2 Performance Elite
The Fox Float X2 Performance Elite delivers sensitive traction, massive reserves, and race-ready adjustability for enduro and downhill riding. You'll get more speed out of every line, stay confidently over roots, rock gardens, and drops, and can precisely tune the suspension to your riding style.
More grip. More confidence. More speed.
The Float X2 Performance Elite combines the light weight of an air spring with the plush feel of a coil setup. Its modern monotube design ensures consistently high performance, even on long downhill runs and in bike park laps. Four-way adjustability with high- and low-speed compression and rebound allows you to precisely tune your rear end to your bike, your weight, and the terrain. The two-position lever lets you switch between an active downhill mode and a firmer platform for transfers and climbs with a single movement.
Finely adjustable to suit your driving style
Thanks to its large main piston and clever oil routing, the damper responds sensitively while remaining stable in the mid-stroke. This keeps you up in the travel, supporting active riding and giving you the confidence to push harder in corners and compressions. Up to 300 psi air pressure and the option of volume spacers offer a wide setup spectrum from playful to ultra-race-oriented. The Performance Elite series forgoes the gold Kashima finish but offers virtually the same high-end internal components as the Factory version.
Ready for modern enduro and downhill frames
The Float X2 Performance Elite is available in common metric sizes, covering modern trail, enduro, and downhill bikes, and offers high frame compatibility thanks to its compact equalization chamber. High-quality seals and low-friction surfaces increase durability and ensure that the shock performs reliably even after many hard days in the bike park.
