Designed for adventurous gravel roads and muddy trails, the Recon 2.0 gravel and MTB shoe offers riders a robust, efficient and yet comfortable overall package for long days with the crew and short stops at the edge of the forest. It likes to clip onto the Diverge, Creo or Epic - and only lets go when the riders have run out of energy after a long day on the trail. BODY GEOMETRY: Like all our shoes, the Recon 2.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically proven. This increases comfort and performance for every rider and reduces the risk of injury with patented technology. All of this has been proven to increase performance by an average of 7 watts. STRIDE TECHNOLOGY: The secrets of Stride technology are a flexible outsole and flexible upper around the toe box, combined with a rigid mount for the pedal plates. This combination allows the shoe to flex slightly when walking, but remains stiff and efficient when pedaling. Efficiency: Thanks to its BOA® Li2 twist lock, the Recon 2.0 can be loosened, adjusted or locked in a matter of seconds. The BOA® rope made of Dyneema® also makes it easy to put on and take off - it doesn't require any hard rope guides. Finally, the Velcro fastener on the forefoot allows the play around the toes to be individually adjusted to the shape of the foot - for predictable control on unfamiliar features or in loose and technical terrain.
