BODY GEOMETRY: Like all our shoes, the Recon 1.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically proven. This increases comfort and performance for every rider and reduces the risk of injury with patented technology. All of this has been proven to increase performance by an average of 7 watts. STRIDE TECHNOLOGY: The secrets of Stride technology are a flexible outsole and flexible upper around the toe box, combined with a rigid mount for the pedal plates. This combination allows the shoe to flex slightly when walking, but remains stiff and efficient when pedaling. EFFICIENCY: The Recon 1.0 uses the BOA® L6 twist lock with Dyneema® cords. In less technical terms, this means: soft laces without hard cord guides that press on the foot.
