The Oiz is neither a down-country nor a trail bike, but a true 120mm XC race machine that looks great and rides just as well. Modern geometry, smart suspension and a design that is designed from start to finish for the 120 mm suspension fork - the Oiz ensures maximum riding pleasure without sacrificing weight or efficiency.

A steep seat tube and low stack ensure you have a firm grip on the wheel and full control at all times. The longer reach, matched to a handlebar stem between 60 and 90 mm, ensures driving stability on descents and more front wheel control on climbs and curves.

As we all know, less is often more. This is especially true for an XC racing bike like the Oiz, where weight and performance are crucial. In addition to uncompromising performance and an astonishingly low weight, the Oiz impresses with its straightforward elegance.

Improved internal cable routing

The internal routing of the cables is nothing new, but with the Oiz it is even more sophisticated than usual - thanks to the proven I-Line and the new SIC system.

Increased rigidity

A stiff frame is important for power transmission, but if it is too stiff, ride comfort suffers. Improved materials, optimized tube profiles and oversized bearings mean that stiffness and weight can be ideally balanced. The result is a balanced frame that offers maximum control and efficiency.

Advanced Dynamics

Orbea's unique Advanced Dynamics software shapes the damping of each of our bikes. Our own software simulates the behavior of a bike under different conditions. Even route differences and tire pressures are taken into account! Of course, we rely on the intensive support of our damper partners. There's more to bike development, but thanks to the software, we don't start from scratch when testing the prototypes, but can immediately start fine-tuning and changing small details. With a convincing entry-level design, the path to the perfect bike is not far.

• Longer Top Tube: The top tube has been tailored to the 60 to 90 mm long handlebar stem to provide good balance while ensuring steering control important for XC racing
• Lower Strack: Optimized for 120 mm of travel to achieve the pressure on the front wheel needed for corners and inclines
• Short chainstays : For greater agility, responsiveness and acceleration
• Stays in shape: The chain and seat stays with special profiles resist torsional forces without increasing weight. 12% more stiffness means the Oiz responds to every pedal stroke faster than ever.
• Enlarged bearings: Larger bearings distribute the load better, which means a small but not insignificant improvement in stiffener stiffness. This brings the Oiz a little closer to perfection.
• Fiberlink: In search of more rigidity in the rear triangle and clearer lines, we developed Fiberlink with injected long fibers: the perfect combination of low weight and impressive rigidity.
• Powerspine / Dynamic Structure: The majority of the torsional forces and lateral loads are absorbed by the lower part of the frame. The head tube, down tube and chainstays resist the loads and transfer the power efficiently to the rear wheel.
