This is the time when racing pants are no longer warm enough for the summer, but you don't really want to get your long pants out of the closet yet. Then try the EQUIPE RS S9 Spring/Fall Bib Shorts, designed for cool weather conditions during spring and fall races. These bib shorts are still short but offer additional warming comfort and protection.

Like the entire EQUIPE RS S9 line, these shorts use the ASSOS` excellent frame structure thanks to A-Lock Engineering. It gives the shorts the right shape and ensures a stable hold even under the greatest strain. The fabric panels around the thighs are made from brushed Osmos Heavy fabric, which further enhances the stability of these areas. This is the latest material to join their textile family and thanks to its technically complex 2-in-1 composition, they can enjoy several advantages. The first advantage is that the brushed inside is highly insulating, breathable and very soft on our skin. The outer tricot construction acts as the 'shell' of the shorts, providing even more support to your leg muscles and providing compression. These two components, combined in one material, provide a compressive hold around our legs, promoting blood circulation and guaranteeing even heat distribution. Knowing that the fronts exposed to the wind must be particularly resistant, ASSOS has provided a two-layer twinDeck structure with the special Sphere Ultra material. You are well protected from icy cold air in sensitive areas without having to forego breathable properties. They used their race-proven EQUIPE RS insert - only without kraterCooler air holes - in its popular basalt color. It is equipped with a superAir microShock foam layer, 3D waffle upper material and the goldenGate technology used only by ASSOS and the rear-mounted horizontal stabilizer.

• Osmos Heavy: This tricot layer is mainly used for these bib shorts. It's the heaviest brushed material in the Osmos family (290 g/m²), which also has asymmetric stretch and a soft, durable structure. Thanks to the roughened inside, a high level of insulation is offered
• Sphere Ultra: With its two-layer twinDeck structure, it is processed in the front panel of the crotch to provide additional warming insulation. Patented two-layer windproof, waterproof and highly breathable softshell material with a sealed PU membrane that provides additional water-repellent properties, maximizing insulation and minimizing weight. • RollBar: ASSOS' unique, patented design, which is based on the stabilizer bar of a racing car: the carriers act as a stabilizer for use while you shift your weight from left to right in corners
• ErgoBox: A square-shaped fabric panel that effectively frames the back panel for added stability
• Butterfly Pattern: The largest section of fabric flatters the lower back and legs and converges at the back. The reduced number of seams promises a more uniform support, less weight and improved comfort.
• Carbon Xbib: A single panel of stretchy fabric that's folded over to create a supportive A-frame and offers limited vertical stretch at the back. A more flexible material has been used across the "X" junction, featuring an antibacterial carbon weave to wick moisture and lay flat in the front
