This versatile carbon wheel is ideal for riders looking for the perfect balance between lightweight, aerodynamics and efficiency. New spokes and hubs give the Cosmic SL 45 Disc a light and lively driving experience when climbing and accelerating.

The rim is based on a 45 mm high and 26 mm wide NACA rim profile, which was specially developed for all-round performance on flat or hilly terrain. The new shape of the rim base makes it easier than ever to mount tubeless and tubular tires. Driving UST tubeless means driving without a tube, i.e. with less friction and more air volume means a smoother driving experience. The result is more speed thanks to very low rolling resistance.

Thanks to improved spokes, this wheelset is 80 g lighter than its predecessor, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc. In combination with Mavic's brand new Infinity hub platform, which ensures a fast and agile ride out of every curve, the wheel is stiffer and more efficient .

The Cosmic SL 45 Disc has been specially developed for disc brakes, with optimized lacing and number of spokes. It is compatible with center lock brake discs. 12 mm thru axles are used at the front and rear, which can be converted to quick releases with the included adapters. The rear hub is available for Shimano HG or Sram XD-R cassettes and can be converted to Campagnolo with an optional freehub body.

This impeller was designed, developed and patented by Mavic in Annecy (France). It is 100% handcrafted in the European carbon manufacturing facility.

UST tubeless technology
